As of February 28, 2015, This site is under construction.

The "STORM" part of our site name stands for "the Society for Technology of Orbital Refining and Manufacturing".

It is our intent to establish and maintain a library related to the technology that will be developed as mankind learns to refine metals (and other materials) in zero-gravity. We will also store information regarding how various refined materials can be stored while they await zero-gee manufacturing and to store information regarding the technologies involved in manufacturing in zero-gravity.

We will be holding our next formative meeting on Saturday, March 21, 2015, starting at 1:30PM PST. It will be organized as a Google Hangout. If you wish to attend, send an e-mail to kurt at earthstorm dot org. Previous attendees will be notified.

If you are interested in becoming a member of EarthSTORM, please send us an e-mail and tell us. We are not going to grant memberships until the organization's Bylaws are ratified, but you can make the request and we will place your name and e-mail address on the waiting list. Once we can grant memberships, we will grant them in the order they were requested.

We are considering memberships in eight classes: General, Academic, Science Club, For Profit Organization, Nonprofit Organization, Intellectual Property Donor, Event Sponsor and Patron.
